Goldman Sachs Invests in Hubba, World’s Biggest Product Network
The world of commerce is undergoing significant changes. At Hubba, we get to experience these trends from our vantage point, overseeing a community of over 40,000 companies.
We have observed three predominant developments. First, commerce is no longer relegated to the traditional retail channel. Consumers can now purchase products through Marketplaces like Amazon; social media sites like Facebook, Messenger Chatbots; IoT-enabled devices and an ever-expanding consumer shelf. Second, to stay ahead retailers are continuously looking for new brands to carry that will set them apart from their competitors. Third, new models have allowed the cost of creating a brand to drop dramatically, which has led to a proliferation of millions of new smaller brands.
